Ozil Eager To Get Back On The Pitch

Ozil looked lost during the first couple of months spent at the Emirates. The German international had a hard time adapting and finding his motivation. After winning all that he could win, Real’s former midfielder seemed to have hit a rough patch. Despite being Arsenal’s most expensive transfer ever and despite moving to Emirates by choice, he has looked out of place. Sanchez’s transfer made things even worse, with a scandal waiting to emerge due to the fact that the Chilean was upset with his teammate’s lack of dedication.

Ozil is currently kept on the bench by an injury which has put him on the side since October. The 26 year old looks to have regained his desire to be on the pitch which can only be a positive thing. The conflict with Sanchez also looks buried so everything is on the right path.

According to the Daily Mail, the midfielder is eager to return and misses playing for Arsenal. In recent interviews he looked determined to make a strong comeback and reclaim his place in the starting eleven. He will have a great chance of getting his spot back especially with some transfers expected to take place this winter. Podolski is expected to leave and will probably make way for Ozil to start performing on the left a lot more than usual. Up until then, the 26 year old will have a lot of ground to cover. He is not even back in training and will probably be missing the first games of 2015.
