Mesut Ozil seems delighted with the fact that he is playing next to Alexis Sanchez. The World Cup winner is confident that with the Chilean player’s arrival, Arsenal are ready to maintain a strong challenge and win at least one trophy this season, while challenging hard for the Premier League. According to the Daily Mail, Sanchez is seen as the perfect secondary striker. With Welbeck ready to show the world how great of a striker he is and his debut certainly was promising only missing a goal to top it off vs Man City, the Gunners are in for quite an offense oriented season.

The collaboration between Ozil and Sanchez will be key in winning Arsenal those much sought after trophies. The German’s precision will go hand in hand with the Chilean’s speed and clinical scoring abilities. Ozil seems well aware of that and praises the excellent transfers Wenger managed to pull off this summer.

The 25 year old midfielder spoke very highly of his new colleague who next to Welbeck and all of the other Gunners, will represent one of the strongest squads in the Premier League. Ozil also pointed out that he feels a lot more confident as a playmaker after spending his first year in London. This is exactly what Ozil needed to shine just as he did while playing for Real Madrid. With a boost in confidence and with two new very efficient forwards added to the squad, Arsenal are ready to compete with Liverpool or City when it comes to the numbers of goals scored in one season. Hopefully, Sanchez, Welbeck and the other new additions prove to be the missing pieces in the puzzle which will enable the Gunners to win the Premier League.
