Mateo Kovacic Off Of Wenger’s Transfer List

Inter’s 19 year old Mateo Kovacic has been linked to several Premier League teams despite only just transferring to Serie A. The youngster left Dinamo Zagreb in 2013 to join the Italian side for which he has already made 40 appearances. Despite his young age, Kovacic seemed to have picked the right season to join Inter who are currently in transition. Unfortunately for the Croatian international, some disputes with boss Walter Mazzarri have given the press reason to believe he is ready to make a move.

According to Sky Sports, Arsenal could have been the team to benefit off of the midfielder’s fallout with the club manager. He would make a great addition to the team considering his playing style and his position. His age is also a big advantage considering he has yet to fully develop his playing style. Wenger is known for giving youngsters like him chances. Inter’s number 10 could get a lot of on-pitch time if he does decide to move to London especially with the Gunners always seemingly being held back by their frustrating injury list.

Kovacic recently spoke about a possible move to the Premier League. In his statements he denied any dispute with Mazzarri who according to him has been nothing but supportive. Even so the Italian manager has been playing the 19 year old out of position for a while now which resulted in him spending more time on the bench than last year. Despite the Croatian International’s apparent confidence regarding his future, things might change during the summer transfer period when Arsenal are determined to spend big.
