The Lyon forward, Clinton N”Jie has been dubbed the new Samuel Eto’o after registering three goals in only his first two caps for Cameroon. The 21-year-old has come through the ranks at Lyon and has recently signed an extension with the French club till 2019, according to talkSPORT.

The Gunners were linked with the striker in the summer with Wenger looking to increase his attacking options for the season. Wenger instead moved for Danny Welbeck on transfer deadline day and N’Jie has now committed his future to Lyon as he believes his future lies with the French side.

He said, “I’m happy. Now we have to continue working. I want to score, to play and I hope we can qualify for Europe next season. I’m proud of myself. I want to also thank everyone who helped me get this far. This extension shows that the team has confidence in me.”
