Danny Welbeck looks to be on his way to be a star at Arsenal, after the striker opened his account for the club this past weekend against Aston Villa, and the versatile attacker has also been compared to club legend Thierry Henry by the boss, as the Telegraph report.

Arsenal finally secured a convincing win in their Barclays Premier League after the club struggled to get results in the opening few matches of the campaign. On the back of a heavy loss against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, Arsene Wenger was under some pressure to get a win to kickstart the season, and the performance was impressive.

Welbeck was keen on finding a regular first team place in the squad visioned by new manager Louis van Gaal, but instead was again forced to sit on the bench and wait for his chance to shine. The England international is a proven performer in the Premier League, and surely deserves to get a decent run in the first team of a top league side. Arsenal have needed the presence of an established attacker up front to accompany Olivier Giroud.
