Interesting To Compare Post-Match Thoughts Of Ramsey & Wenger After QPR Game: Audio

In a game which Arsenal deserved just about to win vs QPR there was certainly enough reasons why both teams should have won or did win according to Ramsey and Wenger respectively when they spoke after the game.

Wenger was understandably pleased with his charges and while he was perhaps a smidgin generous in his assessment of the game, I do agree it was a solid enough performance away from home. Wenger felt on the contrary to Ramsey and others that Arsenal shared honours in the scoreless 1st half while the others seemed to feel QPR were on top throughout the first frame. Wenger was pleased with his side’s 2nd half performance and how clinically the goals were taken. You can hear it for yourself in the interview below…

Chris Ramsey was super frustrated after his side’s split second mistake which lead to the 1st Arsenal goal. Ramsey thought the Austin goal on 82mins gave his side real hope and they had the Gunners on the back foot for the remainder of the game but sadly could not force an equaliser. Naturally clinging to any positives he could, Ramsey is hoping to build on what was a good QPR performance particularly in the first half where Rangers were dominant. Unfortunately it does not get any easier for Ramsey as his side now face Arsenal’s arch rivals, Spurs, in an early Saturday morning kick-off and although they are at home which has been somewhat of a fortress for them this season they will have their hands full with a Tottenham side who seem already over their League Cup loss and will be chomping on the bit to continue their winning ways after their 3-2 win over Swansea in midweek. Ultimately as Ramsey says, QPR’s 2-1 defeat against Arsenal was extremely frustrating considering how well his side played in the first half and it leaves his club with a lot to do in the remaining games if he wants to secure the club’s top flight status and his job.
