Injury Update Brings Unpleasant News For Oxlade-Chamberlain

Arsenal fans are probably having a Deja-vu as Wenger’s lot is losing its most important players to what look like physical stress related injuries. It has been like this for years and still no solution. It cost the club important trophies and denied the Gunners at least 1 Premier League title in the past decade. Hopefully this is not the case for this season as injury recovery looks back on track for most of the key players in the lot. Let’s take a look at how things are going and who will be back by the end of the year to help Arsenal finish 2015 in first place.

  1. Theo Walcott – hamstring injury – the striker is two weeks away from returning to the pitch. Things cannot be rushed with this type of injury as it can always come back and lead to surgery. Walcott has been missing throughout the entire month of November but fortunately Giroud was brilliant at taking his place.
  2. Aaron Ramsey – thigh injury – the midfielder is ready to get back on the pitch after spending 30 days recovering. It is very likely to see him being sent in a full 90 minutes in the Champions League clashes. He will be under a lot of stress though as according to the Daily Mail, he might need to replace Sanchez who definitely needs a rest.
  3. Oxlade-Chamberlain – hamstring injury – bad news for the winger who had to extend his return date with at least one week. Unfortunately, he will be unavailable due to the fact that he has not healed properly and again, rushing a hamstring injury could be very dangerous.
  4. Hector Bellerin – groin injury – the 20-year-old has been spotted back in training and could be ready to take back the right side of the defense from Debuchy.
  5. Jack Wilshere – hairline crack in the calf-bone – Wilshere will hopefully return during the middle of December but after 4 months of absence it`s hard to believe he will be in top form too soon.
  6. Danny Welbeck – knee operation – he has been out since September and is expected to return in January or February. The problem is that just as with Wilshere, it will be hard for him to be in top shape and compete against Giroud and Walcott for a spot in the starting eleven.

We left out Rosicky who has been injured since June and will probably not play an important role in the way Arsenal’s Premier League campaign will proceed this season. He will be returning in January and will probably leave the club in June.
