Injury Update

Wilshere’s injury spell stopped as of this week even though Wenger was in fear that the 24-year-old midfielder will be out until the end of the season. According to Squawka, the midfielder is back in training which is good news for the Gunners.

Hopefully he will not be rushed as he is not a crucial piece of the puzzle for Arsenal right now. That`s not because he lacks quality or he would not be useful, but because his recovery is worth the wait and because the team is working fine. Elneny looks good and Coquelin is back, making the pressure on Wilshere’s shoulders drop a bit.

Even though the Gunners dropped to 4th place, they did so without using the midfielder throughout the season. He should not be pushed and he should wait until the end of the season to make sure he is fully recovered. It worked for Walcott who took his recovery step by step and was not pressured into performing right out of recovery. He is now in great form and made some brilliant appearances since his last injury.

With the number of injuries seemingly returning to the Arsenal squad over the next few days/week it might be a good time to jump at the chance to wager with the bet365 bonus code 2016 and take advantage of the chances the Gunners have to win 3 competitions with a squad which is coming back into full fitness finally.

“Sometimes it’s been difficult to stay positive, especially after the injuries that I’ve had which have been frustrating, but as the injury goes, you get closer to full fitness and you see the light at the end of the tunnel, then you start to think about coming back and getting involved in the team” Wilshere said.

It`s understandable to see him like this especially this season with the European Championship taking place during the summer. He is just 24 though and sacrificing this season to be fully recovered should be his first choice. His future with Arsenal is not in danger and the only thing he needs to focus on his being fully recovered both mentally and physically.

As previously mentioned in one of our articles, Wilshere spent 840 days of his contract deal in recovery. Hopefully these days will be forgotten starting with next season. It would be a pity for him to try and make his way to England’s national team without considering his future.
