Have Arsenal Finally Found Their Left Winger?

The Gunners have a great chance to sign one of this year’s best Ligue 1 players. Olympique Marseille’s Andre Ayew has refused to sign a new deal with the French side and will be leaving once he receives a proper offer. The 25 year old Ghana international who has made more than 200 appearances for Marseille in which he scored 60 goals and provided 25 assists has had a great season and could definitely become a solution for Wenger’s left side in attack where Podolski is supposed to return after his failed loan deal with Inter.

According to the Daily Star, Ayew has been a target of Arsenal’s for a while and might just become a priority for the Gunners. Newcastle and Liverpool are also interested in the left winger who is going to be one of the most sought after players of the summer.

Even though he has had some serious injuries to deal with in the past and has spent a good amount of time on the treatment table in recent seasons, he seems fit enough for the Premier League these days. He has the speed and the ball control to get past any defender and also shows up very often in front of goal. He is creative and can play somewhere behind the strikers and he is very determined individual. He has a salary of about £110.000 per week which should not be an issue for Arsenal and he is available. The Ghana international is a target that should not be missed considering Wenger’s lack of solutions on the left wing and also considering the fact that Podolski is very unlikely to be featured in next season’s squad.
