Arteta Confident He Will Return In Time To Play Against City On The 13th Of September

The Gunners have had a mediocre start to this season. After two games, they lost Arteta and Giroud who are two of the most important players Wenger has under him. Even with the new medical staff, it looks like injuries are still a problem at the Emirates. Fortunately, Arteta’s injury is not as bad as Giroud’s. The Frenchman will be out for the rest of the year which is a massive blow for the Gunners.

Arsenal’s captain seems confident that he will return to the pitch in a matter of weeks. According to the Daily Mail, he will do all he can to speed up his recovery in order to help the team win against Manchester City. Hopefully, his recovery will go as planned and he will be ready to perform on the 13th of September. The bigger problem comes from up front though where Arsenal were already finding it hard to stay on top with only one box striker.

There have been many names linked to Emirates during the past few days but at the time of writing with only just over 2 hours left in the window Arsenal have yet to announce a striker signing or any other incoming transfer signing for that matter. We are praying for another bit of last minute magic like Mesut Ozil from this time last year.
