Arsenal Will Find It Tough To Sign 21 Year Old Prospect

Wenger has been monitoring a long list of players who could fill in the empty spots Arsenal are currently struggling to cover. The midfield is one of the most problematic areas especially with injuries still being a problem for the Gunners. According to Metro, 21 year old youngster Florian Thauvin could be a long term solution for Arsenal who seem set on making a move on Marseiile’s player. Unfortunately, things are not going too well as the France U21 does not seem too keen on leaving Ligue 1.

Currently under contract until 2018, Thauvin is going to be a pretty difficult transfer. Not only does his contract have a long way to go until it reaches its completion date but the club and the player are also reluctant as far as a move to the Emirates goes.

Thuavin denied being contacted by Arsenal officials but told the press that there were some transfer talks with another team. Inter also look interested in signing the 21 year old who is currently valued at £10 million. Marseille’s player is quite versatile and could come in handy especially with injuries still being a huge problem for the Gunners. Even though Arsenal already have several attacking midfielders, Thauvin could represent an excellent long term investment. Even though he is just 21 he has already made a name for himself in France. He could easily play as a left winger which is currently the most problematic spot in the mid-section of the squad.
