Arsenal Transfer Snubbed By Aston Villa Boss

Apparently no amount of money will be enough for Aston Villa to allow Delph and Vlaar to leave especially during the middle of the season. Paul Lambert recently admitted that if either of the two are to leave, they will cost a lot of money and they will be released at the end of the season. The two defensive players would look like the perfect move for Wenger who is missing exactly such footballers. The chemistry between the two would also be very welcome considering the lack of communication often seen at the Emirates. According to the Mirror, bringing both to North London will be a true challenge mostly because of Ron Vlaar who is Villa’s captain.

The good news is that either of the two have yet to accept a contract renewal with their current team. Vlaar will be out of contract in 6 months and it is very likely that he will decide his future this January. If he decides to stay he will sign an extension and if not, he will surely give in to one of the offers coming his way.

England’s Fabian Delph is also out of contract this summer which means he will also have to make a decision this January. Even though he grew up playing for Villa after joining from Leeds he looks more determined than Vlaar to leave. He would make a great addition to Wenger’s team for sure who will either go after him or Schneiderlin who is 4 times more expensive.
