Arsenal To Trade Injured Prone Midfielder For Young Talent

Denis Suarez left Celta Vigo for Manchester City back In 2012 to then return to Spain and sign with Barcelona. He played for Sevilla. He is a constant presence in Spain Youth teams and made 2 appearances for City but failed to fit in the star-filled lot managed by Roberto Mancini. Since then, the left winger has grown immensely and is now one of the most sought after youngsters of his generation. Maybe it is time for him to take a step up and finally start thinking about claiming titles like the Premier League or even the Champions League. Villarreal does not offer those kinds of hopes right now as they are 20 points behind the first three La Liga teams. Arsenal could offer him more money and the chance to play at the highest level possible every single week. According to Squawka, Suarez’s transfer could be facilitated by Cazorla’s love for his former club. The Spaniard who will probably miss out on this year’s European Championship is considering a return to his home country after injuries have ruined an excellent season start.

Arsenal’s midfielder is out of contract in 2017 and is desperate to play. After spending so much time on the bench this season, he will need at least a couple of months to be fully recovered – if that is even possible. The Premier League is tough so he will have to be extra-careful not to pick up another important injury which would probably end his career in terms of high-end football. Spain would be a more suited destination for his situation which is a pity for the Gunners because he is an incredible midfielder. Some good may come of his possible departure though as Villarreal could be more than willing to include young Suarez in a swap deal. Is this swap worth Arsenal’s while though? When it comes to covering the flanks, Wenger has enough options as it is. With Iwobi’s form and with players like Campbell pushing themselves to become members of the starting eleven, it’s hard to believe that Suarez will find his place. One more thing worth mentioning is that other than Suarez, Villarreal would not have much to offer to Wenger who needs a striker and possibly a center-back. Even if the Spaniards have Cedric Bakambu who is an excellent striker, it is unlikely he will leave as he just joined Villarreal back in August 2015. Maybe it would be better to keep Cazorla until the end of his contract and then decide if his former club has something to offer in his return.
