Arsenal To Sign Clinical Striker

The Brazilian striker who has had an impressive season up until now, seems to be keen on leaving Ukraine. The constant danger and the team’s inability to return home determined this 27 year old Brazilian to put his contract extension on hold. With his deal about to expire at the end of this year, Adriano admitted it will be very difficult to continue playing for his current club. According to Metro, the striker who managed to score 9 times in 7 games during this Champions League season, could leave for free if Arsenal decide to wait until December or later.

The center forward has a great scoring rate and has grown every year in terms of quality. He has reached a certain maturity which comes in very useful when combined with his talent. Wenger could surely consider making an offer so as to have Luiz Adriano training with the Gunners as early as June. Shakhtar are very unstable and players are no longer willing to extend their stay. Several important footballers will be up for grabs with Adriano being on top of the list.

A decision will have to be made at the end of the season when some other big names will be available. Edinson Cavani is rumored to be on the market for half price which could be tempting if not for the fact that Arsenal already have two great strikers with a very similar profile to that of the Uruguayan. Adriano looks like a nice way to create competition without wasting too much money on a new attacker while the defense is still in need of some strengthening.
