Arsenal Target 19 Year Old Newcastle Winger Rolando Aarons

With Podolski getting ready to leave and with Arsenal lacking balance between the two sides of the pitch, Wenger started looking for solutions. According to the Daily Star, that solution could come from Newcastle who currently have one of the most promising players in the Premier League. Rolando Aarons who just turned 19 a few days back has impressed in his first season playing for a major team. The left winger who signed a two year deal with the St. James’ Park side has not yet decided if he will continue performing in the black and white shirt.

Aarons has managed some very impressive games for Newcastle’s U21 team and has already scored twice for the big team. He also provided his teammates with one assists in the 5 games he has played in so far. Wenger has been watching the young Jamaican born England international for a while now. Even though the Gunners are in desperate need of defensive players, Aarons would be an investment that would not interfere with more important transfers. Signing him will cost Arsenal less than Ozil’s one month salary which sounds really appealing considering how talented Newcastle’s player seems to be. He looks like the perfect signing for the moment because he is cheap but will very likely explode sometimes next season. Wenger will definitely not be blamed by fans if he spends a very small fraction of the Gunners’ transfer budget on the 19 year old.
