Arsenal Set To Move On Dortmund’s Marco Reus

Arsenal could sign one of the most sought after players in European football. German international, Marco Reus, is set to leave Dortmund which might give Wenger the opportunity to sign the perfect player for the Gunners. The very versatile attacking midfielder could solve most of Arsenal’s problems as far as the offense goes. He is very fast, he scores a lot and he can play in three or four different positions. According to Metro, he is going to be hard to sign. Currently monitored by Liverpool and Atletico, Reus will leave next year for sure considering that his buy-out clause will drop to £19.7million within a year.

Dortmund will sell Reus to the highest bidder which apparently comes from Spain at the moment. Atletico are first in line to secure the German international who missed out on the World Cup due to injury and is now eager to prove he can win some trophies.

Arsenal look like the team who needs Reus the most. He could fill in all the empty spots Wenger has had a hard time filling. He is affordable, despite being one of the best attacking midfielders in the world and he is also experienced after spending 2 years playing for Borussia. With 2 weeks left until the summer transfer window closes, Wenger must bid for Reus. He is probably the most important target out there despite the fact that Arsenal have failed to publicly express their desire to join Liverpool and Atletico in the race for the 25 year old’s signature.
