Arsenal are ready to fulfil the wage demands of West Ham United defender Winston Reid, after the player has begun asking questions about his wages after the club’s recent surge in form that has seen them breach the top four, according to the Mirror.

The Gunners continued their recovery in the European campaign after defeating Turkish giants Galatasaray 1-4 away from home. Arsene Wenger started with Lukas Podolski in attack, and the German produced the goods in the first three minutes after scoring a spectacular goal in the top corner. The Turks tried to rescue the situation, and got one goal back, but Podolski’s second of the night in the dying seconds of the game secured a convincing away win for Arsenal.

Reid began his career in Denmark where FC Midtjylland were ready to upgrade the defender to the first team in 2005. In 2010, the New Zealander moved to West Ham, and has played 105 league appearances for the London based club, scoring 6 goals in the process and they are determined to keep him unless a mind-blowing bid comes in and who knows as anything is possible these days as the first €200 million player must be on the horizon.
