Arsenal Move To 2nd After Mind-Blowing First Half

Wenger has the team on the right track as the Frenchman proves critics wrong once more. Arsenal’s boss managed to motivate all his players and even got Ozil to start looking like the player who dominated Real Madrid’s midfield. The World Cup winner scored the second goal and was an important part of the group. What was more impressive was to see him determined and running after both the adversaries and the ball. If he continues along these lines he will become what Pires once was, which is interesting considering the fact that the German recently mentioned his 4 favorite Arsenal players were Henry, Bergkamp, Ljungberg and Pires.

Arsenal’s 3-0 win against Manchester United brings only good vibes apparently. Alongside Ozil, Sanchez seems to have returned to last year’s form. Two stunning goals by the Chilean pretty much ended the match in just 20 minutes. He dominated his adversaries, he fought for every ball and showed the fans he is right up there with Messi, Ronaldo and all the greats.

It`s more and more obvious that Wenger definitely knows what he is doing. This game was decided, by the last three transfers the Frenchman made. Cech was a very important part of the equation as well after managing to block Martial at the end of the first half. Gabriel was also focused and did exactly what he had to do to maintain the result. Things could have looked a bit better for Arsenal if Oxlade-Chamberlain replaced Ramsey who even though he played a good game, he was still a bit off the pace. The Ox on the other hand hit the post with a brilliant lob a couple of minutes after he came on. All in all, Arsenal looked incredibly promising. Hopefully they will not stumble again and keep it up until December when they will face Premier League leaders Manchester City.
