Arsenal Looking To Sign World-Class Winger

Arsenal will more than likely direct their transfer funds to Germany where Marco Reus is waiting for an offer. The 25 year old winger would be a perfect addition to Wenger’s side which currently have no winger to fit on the left side of the attack. Reus who is under contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2019 was heavily linked to the Emirates last year. Wenger managed to land Sanchez then and gave up on the German International. According to the Daily Mail, interest in the Dortmund’s superstar has reached an all-time high this month after Walcott refused to accept the club’s first offer. It has been rumored that the England international is pushing for a big raise in pay which some consider unfounded given the forward’s lack of consistency.

Apparently Walcott is looking to get a £120.000-a-month raise which would be more than enough to cover Reus’s financial expectations. With Dortmund going through a rough patch and with the Premier League looking like the most appealing competition in Europe, Reus could be very tempted to part ways with the club he has been with for the past 3 years. Salary wise, he is rumored to have been offered a raise if he signs with the Gunners but there may not be room for both Reus and Walcott at Arsenal. Even though the England international has been with the club for a long time, Wenger might consider replacing him with Marco Reus who will surely benefit from a transfer to Arsenal as would the team.
