Arsenal administer Leicester City’s first defeat of the season after Alexis reminds fans why he was the Gunners’s number one player for last season.

It’s games like this who make fans wonder how good could Arsenal really be if they managed to dodge the endless injury streak that robs the club of glory, year after year. It was a joy to watch the Londoners perform and administer Leicester’s first defeat of the season. Sanchez was by far the man of the match and proved great character after the criticism he received for not being at the same level as last season. Walcott was also very convincing in front of goal which can only be good news considering the fact that Giroud has yet to become the star quality striker Wenger needs to keep up with City, Chelsea and most recently with United.

Aside from the two attackers, one more name worth mentioning is that of Petr Cech. He made some brilliant saves and really gave the Gunners that extra bit of security the defense so desperately needed last season.

The entire team worked really hard and turned things around in a matter of minutes despite Vardy’s opener. One thing that might be worrying is the fact that most of Arsenal’s players looked winded near the end of the game which might mean they already accumulated some fatigue due to the busy schedule. Hopefully injuries will not start popping up anytime soon.

Arsenal now have a good morale ahead of two very important games against Olympiacos and Manchester United. If they show they show the same commitment, they might get their first 3 points in the Champions League and also access the Premier League podium by next Sunday.
