After being intensely linked to Mats Hummels, Arsenal are now linked to two of the most exciting players in Europe. For over a year now, Quintero and Jackson Martinez from Porto have impressed the fans with their performances. Arsenal have been looking into the Martinez deal for over a year now but have failed to reach an agreement with Porto or the player. According to Metro, Wenger is now setting up a £60million offer for the two who could revolutionize Arsenal’s attack. With Sanchez playing at full capacity and with Quintero down the middle, Jackson Martinez would surely thrive and explode in the Premier League. Unfortunately, the Gunners have some other matters to address as well. They are looking to strengthen the defense which is now badly effected by injuries.

Out of the two, Quintero would be the more appropriate transfer. He could be a great competitor for Ozil. Quintero who is now 21 looks like an amazing financial opportunity as well. He is expected to exponentially increase his value over time which makes him quite interesting.

Martinez looks like he is not a necessity anymore. He will only be offered a deal if Arsenal manage to complete the squad as far as the defense goes. It is a bit unlikely to see Wenger spend so much money on a striker considering the offensive line Arsenal have, is one of the best in the world.
