Arsenal have a great chance to win their third trophy in two seasons after a decade long drought. According to Sky Sports, Wenger is more than confident that now that most big teams are out, The Gunners have become favorites to bring home the trophy. City, Chelsea and Tottenham have been eliminated and those are only three of the 10 Premier League teams which have left the competition. Liverpool and Manchester also have a hard time ahead after they stumbled vs League 2 and Championship clubs like Cambridge and Bolton respectively who managed some impressive games.

Despite the fact that Arsenal also had a difficult time against Brighton, they are not free to put their focus into winning the FA Cup. To be fair, this competition represents the easiest way to win another trophy this season. The Champions League is much more difficult to handle despite the easy draw Wenger had the chance to get. The Premier League also looks like a lost cause this season with Chelsea being too far in front.

Wenger, despite being a bit cautious has stated that Arsenal are favorites. He also mentioned that the Cup is very unpredictable and that anything could happen if you don’t pay enough attention. Hopefully the Gunners will bring another trophy to the Emirates this year and make fans happy just like they were at the end of last season.
