The 32 year old is having a hard time dealing with the fact that he is no longer number one and that Courtois has taken his spot for an indeterminate period of time. According to Metro, Arsenal might offer The Blues keeper a change plus the option to continue playing in the Premier League on a regular basis. Costing only £7million, it would be a pity for Wenger to miss out on such a great opportunity. Despite having definite troubles in the defense and having to find at least two new defenders during the January transfer window, the Frenchman could use some extra confidence given by a great goalkeeper. Even if Szczesny is an excellent solution and Ospina managing to impress on several occasions, neither of the two are on the same level as Cech.

With Ospina out with injury, it would be a great moment to send Chelsea an offer for the 32 year old. Most say that Cech could also become a team leader not only a new number one. He captained the Blues and he has always been respected and appreciated. Aside from his qualities as a player, Cech is also one of the most experienced keepers out there. He has won a lot of trophies and would surely not cave under any pressure that he might face.
