Wenger is looking to give Dennis Praet another chance at making it in the Premier League. The 20 year old was given a shot to be part of Arsenal’s squad back in 2010 when he tried out for a place at the Emirates. He ended up joining Anderlecht though where he has been since. The young midfielder is now one of the most promising names in Europe, with clubs like Liverpool, Valencia and Atletico fighting for his signature. According to Metro, he is closer to the Emirates due to the fact that he has always wanted to play under Wenger’s supervision. This winter he will have the chance to do so especially with Arsenal having such trouble finding solutions.

The rumors that Praet will be coming to Emirates have grown in strength after the player’s agent gave an interview regarding the future of his 20 year old client. Apparently, the two see no benefit in waiting another year to leave Anderlecht. According to Lichtenstein who is now representing Praet’s interests, moving to Arsenal would be a challenge but not a challenge which cannot be met. The plan is that the Belgian international will transfer to a strong team where he will not be playing for the first year until he manages to acclimatise . After that period he will be ready to perform for any side just as he does for Anderlecht. Currently Praet has made close to 100 appearances for Anderlecht where he is under contract until 2017.
