Arsenal And Other Prem Rivals On Red Alert As Reus Rejects Contract Talks!

The 25-year-old, Marco Reus is one of the most highly sought after forwards in Europe and has attracted attention from the likes of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich. Even Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool are monitoring his situation at the German club.

The attacker has reportedly turned down the chance to discuss a new deal with Dortmund until the end of the season, according to the Express. The Germany international is unhappy with the club’s transfer policy (losing Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski to rivals Bayern Munich) and wants to wait until the end of the season to see the team’s plans.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has stated that Reus’ future remains with the club but the report suggests that the German has no desire of holding contract talks. His release clause will drop to just £20 million come the end of the season and Arsenal are expected to put together a bid to lure Reus to the Emirates Stadium in 2015.
